The Rock Cycle
The rock begins as magma,
Yet the cold temperature calls.
Igneous it is.
The rock cracks into sediments,
And the sediments combine into a sedimentary rock.
High temperature converts it into a metamorphic rock,
And it melts.
Magma it is.
And so, the rock, in this world of oxygen and carbon,
Has this cycle to convert.
But there are more conversions,
A story for another time.
